    At our corporate headquarters, founded in Urbach in 1971, 100% of our telescopic slide profiles are produced. Profiles are manufactured efficiently and with high precision on our internally developed roll-forming lines. This manufacturing step forms the basis for our telescopic rails. The profile parts are then sent to Liepaja, Latvia, where they are assembled and finished in our plant and prepared for shipping in our logistics center. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Thanks to the in-house production of tools and equipment, SCHOCK\u00ae remains flexible and independent in the implementation of individual customer solutions.     SCHOCK Metallwerk has been moving since 1971<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

    1971<\/strong> \u2013 On October 1, 1971, the new metalworks in Urbach was opened \u2013 at that time still part of the Schorndorf company \u2013 and specialized in ball-bearing telescopic slides, decorative metals, and pull-out guides for the furniture industry. Even then, the company employed over 1,200 people across several locations. <\/p>\n

    1978<\/strong> \u2013 On July 1, 1978, the Urbach plant became legally independent and operated as Schock Metallwerk GmbH under the management of Hermann and Richard Schock. In doing so, they laid the foundation for the company's development as an independent player in the metalworking industry. In the following years, Schock established itself as a trustworthy partner in industry and trade. <\/p>\n

    2002<\/strong> \u2013 Schock Metallwerk GmbH expands globally and structures the company into five strategic business units: Home Appliances<\/strong>, Automotive<\/strong>, Living\/Storage<\/strong>, Industry, and<\/strong> Trade<\/strong>. This diversification opens up new markets and strengthens the company's international competitiveness. <\/p>\n

    2019<\/strong> \u2013 A state-of-the-art assembly plant is opened in Liepaja, Latvia. All SCHOCK\u00ae telescopic rails are finished in this plant. The highest quality standards are maintained here, and a final quality control is carried out. This is how we guarantee the highest product quality. <\/p>\n

    2021<\/strong> \u2013 The establishment of a logistics center in Schopfloch, Germany, optimizes worldwide shipping coordination and ensures efficient, on-time delivery to customers on all continents. This center is a key component of the company's global logistics strategy. <\/p>\n

    2023<\/strong> \u2013 Expansion of the logistics center in Schopfloch: A state-of-the-art powder coating system is put into operation. In addition, another warehouse<\/strong> is built with photovoltaics<\/strong> and 380 kW output<\/strong>. These measures are the key to more sustainability and growth. Thanks to our photovoltaic system, we have significantly reduced CO\u2082 emissions while also lowering our operating costs. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
